3. "Flex Fee" and Payment Policy
We operate on a "Flex Fee" policy to make pet care accessible to everyone. This policy allows the Client to determine a fair and affordable fee for the services provided. This fee can be zero.

-
Contributions & Tips: While formal payment is flexible, we appreciate contributions toward our travel expenses. Tips for a service completed well are also gratefully accepted.
4. Client Responsibilities
To ensure the best possible care for your pets and home, the Client agrees to the following:
-
Full Disclosure: The Client must provide complete and honest information regarding their pets, including routines, behavioral traits (including any history of aggression or anxiety), habits, medical conditions, and medical history.
-
Supplies: The Client is responsible for providing all necessary supplies for the duration of the sit, including but not limited to food, medication, treats, leashes, waste bags, litter, and cleaning supplies.
-
Costs: The Client is responsible for all costs associated with the care of their pets and the maintenance of their property. This includes, but is not limited to, the cost of supplies and any veterinary bills incurred during the service period.
-
Veterinarian Notification: The Client must inform their veterinarian that Pet Staycations will be acting as primary caregivers for their pet(s) and authorize the veterinarian to provide medical treatment in an emergency.
-
Home Information: The Client must provide clear instructions regarding house rules, sleeping arrangements for the sitters, and any other relevant information for maintaining the home.
5. Cancellations and Changes in Plans
We understand that plans can change. We do not have a strict cancellation fee policy. However, we operate on a foundation of mutual respect and open communication.
-
Communication: We ask that Clients inform us as soon as possible of any changes or cancellations to their plans.
-
Travel Costs: If a cancellation occurs after we have already incurred non-refundable travel expenses, we kindly request that the Client consider covering these costs.
-
Early Return: If a Client returns earlier than expected, we appreciate clear communication. We hope to make arrangements that allow us to remain in the accommodation for the originally agreed-upon duration, but we are open to discussing alternative solutions.
6. Emergency Care
In the event of a pet emergency, Pet Staycations will make every reasonable effort to contact the Client. However, the Client authorizes Pet Staycations to seek immediate professional veterinary attention for their pet(s). The Client agrees to be fully responsible for the payment of any and all veterinary services required.
